Hello - my name is Dave Hopper .....

Molly and I moved to Panama in 2009 and bought our beautiful home on Isla San Cristobal shortly afterwards.  Since then we have done a lot of work on the property, turning it into the home and business we always imagined.

In early 2010 I started work on some trails through the jungle, and we bought our first horses.  The island was pretty much unexplored in terms of riding and horseback trails.  However, with a team of local Indians who knew their way around, we worked to cut trails around Isla San Cristobal whilst ensuring we did not damage any of the delicate ecosystems on the island.  Even now you may have to dismount occasionally on some of our trails to navigate around a tree!

Since then we have cut over 5 miles of trails and now have seven horses.  We will soon have eleven so that we can run treks for up to 10 people.  We have employed local guides and can run our tours in English and Spanish.  I am currently working on an overnight trail that will take in more of the island and will be designed for the more experienced rider who can deal with a variety of terrains and some small jumps.  More on this soon ......

Molly runs a successful soap company, Punta Coco Soaps, and looks after our daughter.  All of her soaps are cold-processed with pure essential oils and herbal extracts in an all-vegetable base.  They have no chemical additives or artificial preservatives and you'll love the way they make your skin look and feel.  All soaps are available to purchase after your tour.
